No Face-Faceless

He cracked silly jokes,
He slipped the net,
He sled over the rope,
He made funny faces,
To make everyone laugh,

Everyone laughed out loudly,
They cheered and they clapped,
Without noticing a teardrop on his cheek,

Head held down,
He went back to his dressing room,

In front of the mirror,
A faceless man crying out loud
No one came to cheer,
No one came to hear,
No one came to share,
Nobody cared,

He ‘The Clown’ stood there,
Staring at the mirror,
The only faceLess crowd in the rear.
