Flower of the Day-6th June 2018

Greetings!!

Flower of the day!

Flowers are flowers, they are beautiful the way they are, it doesn’t matter how big or how small they are, they smile at you, when they dry they become a part of your memory in your books or frames.

3 Days, 3 Quotes Tag : Day 1

I am back with three-day quote challenge! This time I am nominated by Richa from iScriblr (a few days ago). Thank you so much Richa, you have been doing really great. It makes me feel great if I can bring a smile to someone or inspire someone with positivity. This time the theme suggested is musical, so I am trying my hand on this, I wonder if my funny bones shift me to laughter. Let me share with you, I love music almost all kind, like Sufi, Peppy songs, Hip-Hop, and slow romantic music.

MY QUOTE FOR DAY 1

ABOUT THE ARTIST

The winner of National Film Awards, two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, fifteen Filmfare Awards and sixteen Filmfare Awards South A.R.Rahman is an Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, musician, and philanthropist. He was born January 6, 1966, Madras (now Chennai), India)
Rahman was born in Madras, India. His father, R. K. Shekhar, was a film-score composer and conductor for Tamil and Malayalam films; Rahman assisted his father in the studio, playing the keyboard.
After his father’s death when Rahman was nine years old, the rental of his father’s musical equipment provided his family’s income. Raised by his mother, Kareema (born Kashturi), Rahman was a keyboard player and arranger for bands such as Roots.
He grew bored with playing in bands and eventually turned his talents toward creating advertising jingles. He wrote more than 300 jingles and would later say that the experience taught him discipline because jingle writing required delivery of a powerful message or mood in a short time
Later Rahman met Bollywood film director Mani Ratnam, who persuaded him to write music for motion pictures. Their first project was Roja (1992), which resulted in Rahman’s first film soundtrack hit

MY TAKE ON THE QUOTE

We all live a life full of aspirations, responsibilities and our dreams. In moving forward to achieve our goals and fulfill our responsibilities at times we feel broken and lose the purpose of life. Negative thoughts, failure, and grief surround us.
To overcome those negative thoughts sometimes good calming music can definitely help. Either you can create your own music, you can listen to someone else’s compositions or just listen to the music which is there by nature. The sounds of your own heartbeat, sea waves, river flow, birds singing all this has rhythm, we just need to really listen to it. Music has the power to heal the deepest wound on your heart. It helps to “let it go” and “let it flow“.
And remember a healed heart can only do good for our society. Let’s make a happy society, let’s spread smiles, let the music work!
